Hi dean,
Great video my website reflects what you are talking about in this webcast and I get ineed to make some changes thank you. However I think that there is so much free info available out there that people do not need to give up there email addresses for info so why would they?

Dean,

Thank you for the reminders. Do you realize that you and I started working together in May of 2002?! It’s been an awesome ride.

You’d think I’d know it all by now, but I watched this video and it was a great reminder of how the Internet consumer is wired. I was reminded of just how many agents do have the focus on themselves. Keep getting the word out. I believe that if they knew better, they would change. They just don’t know any other way. I know I didn’t prior to meeting you.

Thanks Dean, you ROCK!

Hello Dean,
I really enjoyed your webcast, although I feel it goes against what many of us are taught about “branding”. I feel that my site is geared more towards the visitor than myself. I do receive showing requests, but they come to far and few between…

Dean:

I think you really nailed the concept of too many real estate agent websites being all about themselves and not about the needs of their clients.

Dean,

I think there is some great stuff there. I have always been against “personal branding.” How is one person going to outbrand RE/MAX, Coldwell, Keller etc… They spend billions. I think a lot of the branding talk and spiels have tried to get agents to go away from their brand and it just doesn’t make sense.

Also, I like the website info but it seems to me websites are so 2004. I think it is good to have but I find social media and blogging to be far more effective. I would be curious to see how affective websites are for others around the country.

Anyways, good stuff and I look forward to more.

Dean,
I’ve been a long time listener to your podcasts but was working for a bank the last couple of years. They did not allow for us to build our own sites and only wanted their “big bank” brand being built. I’ve recently left and begun building a new site with mindset you discuss in this video. The content/offer is not yet there depending on when you might visit it but I’m confident in my ability to generate leads with this model…Thanks as always.

You are my Guru Dean. You have the ability to simplify things down to the most basic level of what will work on the web and on marketing. I am recently taking my two lead aggregator sites and turning them into content sites in order to win the SEO war. Your info is always invaluable.

Dean,

I learned a lot from the webcast when selecting a domain name and building a website to get the potential prospect to the site to leave their information for future dialog.
Thanks,

Pearl Murdaugh
