I am not a huge promoter of web sites. I feel the internet is saturated, and in order to find one individuals web site becomes impossibe unless you know the web address. I would like to hear more about how one would get their address out there in order to be receiving hits, and of course, inexpensively. I would also love some feedback on my web site www.GreaterCalgaryRealEstate.com
I love your Marketing Mondays, your information is quite insightful!!!

Dean, I signed up last week and I'm very excited!...what I'm alittle stuck on is picking an area to market my postcards. I live in an area where there is lots of townhomes but majority of these owners are one nationality, and I'm not that nationality?....I've looked at many others, and there around the 250,000 mark...is that too low?......thank you for reading this......Nina

Email is definitely where it's at! Get the email, build rapport, follow up and the only appointment when the time comes will be with you!

Thanks Dean!

Thank you Dean!

It's a great idea about sending email with a free report the next day. Not the 30 seconds after they have subscribed

I am in the process of ordering/building my website and am taking an e-pro course. The e-pro course says to do exactly what you are saying NOT to do;
design a site to make prospects come back for more. But I agree with you, once they get the info they want they mostly likely won't bookmark or visit it again. You have only one shot.

Dean your short, personal and expecting a response methodology is the biggest breakthrough in email marketing since Jeff Walkers P.L.F. and Frank Kerns 'under the radar' emails.

It really is huge!

John

P.S I know you have been doing this since way back - but it's new to me!

Dean,

Great, no nonsense post on what direct response marketing on the internet is really all about. With all the "latest and greatest" gimmicks out there, people lose sight of the objective and the strategy. First question I always ask (either myself or the client) on any project is "What do we want the prospect to do?" If you're clear on that, everything else becomes a lot easier.

Excellent point about metrics...doesn't have to be hard to at least get started tracking.

Thanks again for a great post!
